Jag kommer snart att ha med ett mönster i en stor nättidning, därför tänkte jag förklara en del speciella sticksätt jag använder. Tidningen är på engelska, så därför får det bli det.
Since I use som pretty unusual stitches in my patterns sometimes, I will try to explain some of them. Today, wrapped yarn-over stitches. I've never seen them anywhere, I dreamed them up on my own. If you have seen them before, please let me know, it would be very interesting.
Wrapped yarn-over stitch, knit
Hold yarn in front.
Slip the knit yo-stitch purlwise.
Stitch slipped.
Reach through the yo below from the back to the front.
Fetch a loop of the yarn.
And pull a new stitch trough.
With left needle, pull the old stitch over the new one.
Result: A stitch knit through the back loop, with the yarn wrapped around the yarn-over below.
Wrapped yarn-over stitch, purled
With yarn in back, slip stitch as if to purl through the back loop.
Reach through the yo below from the front to the back.
Fetch a loop of the yarn.
And pull a new stitch trough.
With left needle, pull the old stitch over the new one.
Result: A twisted purl stitch, with the yarn wrapped around the yarn-over below.
Easy as pie, right?
